The Abbey Studio, established in 1982 and located on Boston’s south shore in Hingham, Massachusetts, is a professional calligraphy studio. We create hand-lettered documents to recognize outstanding achievement, volunteer service, benefactors, retirement, distinguished service, and honorary degrees. We also create custom designed invitations, personal gifts of poetry or scripture, and memorial tributes.

We offer classes in calligraphy and manuscript gilding, and organize trips to view illuminated manuscripts.
